Customizing the Getting Started Banner Titles in Canvas

If you would like to customize the banner titles for the Getting Started activities in your Canvas course, please follow these instructions.

Go to Google slide of the Getting Started banner > click Make a copy
Refer to instructions on slide 1
On slide 2 enter your banner title
When your banner is ready, from slide 2, click File > Download > PNG image
Then, navigate to the area in your course where you'd like to replace the image > Click edit
Click on the image to be replaced (a blue border will surround your image) > delete Then click on the image icon
Upload your saved image > Submit
Click on your image > click Image Options
Select percentage and change it to 100% > Done
Scroll to the bottom of the page and save your changes
