How to Add and Access Panopto in a Canvas Course

Who can use this feature?

Users with the Creator role or greater

• Access the Panopto Course Folder in Canvas In your course, select Panopto Video from the left-hand navigation.
  

• The first time you select this, you will be prompted to authorize the Panopto application in Canvas. On the window that appears, please select the checkbox for 'Remember my authorization for this service' and select Authorize.
  

• This will open the related Panopto course folder within Canvas
  

• Add Panopto to the Course Navigation
  
• In the event that Panopto does not appear in the left-hand navigation, follow these steps to add it to the course.
• Select Settings

• Select the Navigation tab, and check to see if Panopto falls under the section. If so, drag and drop it up into the course navigation and select Save.
  
  

• Panopto Video will now appear in your course's left-hand navigation
