 | As a teacher, you can create a new assignment in Canvas, using the “External Tool” submission type when making an assignment. Then browse and assign a CK-12 lesson or resource that will show up in that class. |
| In a Module, click the "+" button to add a new Assignment. |  |
| Add Assignment Click Create Assignment Complete Assignment Name Click Add Item |  |
| Click on the Assignment Click Edit |  |
| Add Points, CK-12 will assign the matching points for the assignment. For Submission Type, choose External Tool. |  |
| Click CK-12 |  |
| Browse the content resources and when you are ready to choose a resource, click Assign. |  |
| You will be redirected back to the External Tool window. Click Select |  |
| The link will populate in the URL box |  |
| Complete Assignment configuration Click Save or Save & Publish |  |
