Recording a Meeting and Accessing the Recording

Follow these steps to:

  • Record a meeting

  • View a recording

  • Get a link to a recorded meeting


Recording a Meeting

  • After joining your session in Webex,
    • Click the Record button at the bottom of your WebEx Meeting window. 
    • The Recorder panel will pull up.
    • Click Record.
    • Click on the recorder button again to pause and resume again.
    • Click on the stop button to END recording.  If you need to start recording again, clicking on the record button will generate a separate recording.


Viewing a Recording

  • From Webex within Canvas > Click on the Recordings tab > Locate the recording you would like to view > Click View Recordings.

TIP: The display lag time for lengthier recordings may  range from several hours to an entire day. If you don't see the desired recorded session listed, check back at a later time.





Getting a Link of Your Recorded Session


You must enter your 8-DigitEmployeeID@k12.hi.us account.

 

You will be prompted to select your account and enter your password to sign in to your Webex account.


  • Click on Recordings in the left menu
  • In the My Recorded Meetings window, click on the share button of the desired recorded session

  • TIP: The display lag time for lengthier recordings may  range from several hours to an entire day. If you don't see the desired recorded session listed, check back at a later time.
  • Type in a specific email address or copy the Public Link URL to share it with others. Individuals will be able to view the recorded session by clicking on this link
