Canva on Canvas for Students

Students can easily create presentations, posters, and worksheets from a template or create their own design using Canva in Canvas.

Navigate to your assignment and click on the *Start activity* link. Canva will open in a new tab.
You might be prompted to sign into Canva. If so, sign in using your primary email address that you have associated with Canvas (e.g. 10digitstateid@k12.hi.us).
Depending on how your teacher has set up your assignment, you may be asked to create a new design or modify an existing one. If asked to create a new design, click the *+ Create a design* button. If your teacher requires you to modify an existing design, the design will open in a new tab and you can click on the template and modify it accordingly.
Add in text to your project by either clicking on Text or if your teacher has provided a template for your assignment, click on the area of the template to modify and replace text directly on your assignment.
Upload files using the *Uploads* button.
Customize your design using a variety of tool options.
When you are ready to submit your assignment, navigate back to your Canvas tab and click the *Start Assignment* button.
Click on the *Canva for Education* tab > select *Designs* > then select your *Canva design*.
Click *Submit Assignment.*
